CAS-ual Fridays Happy B-Day 2 You!

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're having a fantastic weekend!  My Mom's birthday was yesterday and I wanted to make a pretty card for her!   She had eye (cataract) surgery a few days ago so we're putting off celebrating until she's feeling back to normal. 

I'm started with a colorful border background made with the CAS-ual Fridays Bold Wishes Stamp set.  I inked up the stamp with Altenew inks and used a Misti stamp tool for perfect placement for the repeated rows.

I inked the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a crisp image,  and cut it with a circle die.  It was getting lost in the background so I added a second slightly larger circle of solid yellow card stock.  

Instead of a loose scribble of gold thread behind the sentiment I made a flower by making small loops and attaching them with glue dots to the back of the circle sentiment.

I know my mom will like the clean design and gold accents.
