CSC#151 - Feel Better Soon

Hi Friends!  I hope you are having a great day!  The weather has cooled off here and I am so glad that my husband and son are on their way home from the Boy Scout Jamboree.  I know they will have lots of stories to tell me.  They worked as staff for the event but they still got to do some really fun things like white water rafting, zip line, shooting, and my son even got to meet Mike Rowe at a VIP event he worked.   I will be sure to post a photo just as soon as I get that little chippie out of the camera!  They left a few days earlier than planned and I'll be happy to have the house buzzing again.  They were gone 2 weeks and I was starting to feel lonely!  They are driving back from West Virginia so they should be home some time tonight YAY!!!  I would normally bake some cookies to remind them why they missed home - but I didn't want to turn on the oven so I made some rice crispy's!  I know they will be happy with them!

Have you noticed the cute new button on my side bar?  It's to commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of CASE Study.  I hope you will visit there on August 1 -  5 for some special events and some serious blog candy! Chupas been working hard to make this even bigger than last year and you won't want to miss a thing.

Here's the inspiration photo for this weeks challenge from our muse of the month  Jocelyn Olson from Red Balloon Cards Blog!   Jocelyn does all sorts of cool things with digital images.  I still haven't taken the plunge to move in that direction - I'm still a roll up your sleeves and get inky sort of gal, but I am still inspired by the designs she's come up with.  Just check this out.  I love the spray paint look of the colors that just pop off the page and the clean look of the design.  The striped yellow edges remind me of washi.  I can't wait to see what inspires you.  I jumped on the colors, and the circular pink "spray" that I turned in to a flower.  Do you see it?  I know - not so easy to see where it started from is it?
If you're looking for a little more inspiration or just curious about what other creations were inspired by this one, check out the designs from the rest of the team. Our special guest designer this month is the talented  Tracey McNeely  from In My Creative Opinion Blog.

Rice Crispy treats, beautiful inspirations, serious blog candy, gorgeous buttons...WOW! Talk about a blast of a visit. I love that you took a computer generated impression and turned it 3D. The symbolical gesture of the flower to be the pink spray is perfect!!
Gorgeous card and enjoy having a blast with your family. :)
