SSCB#2 - Winter Birthday

So, Have you checked out the new Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog?  Finally you get to play along with the Design Team on our bi monthly challenges and have a chance to win $20 off your next order!  What a great way to  build your collection of these beautiful detailed stamps.  All you have to do is play along!  You don't have to have a blog to play - you can link up to any on line gallery - like Flickr or Splitcoast Stampers.  Just stick with the theme and be sure to use at least one Serendipity Stamp.   And the challenge this time?   Winter Birthday!!  You can get all the details here.

Well when I think winter living in the Midwest I think SNOW, and when I think about Birthdays I want them to be HAPPY - so what could be better than this happy snowman for a winter birthday challenge?    In inked up this sweetie in Momento Tuxedo Black and then colored him up in Copic markers.  It was really easy because I left quite a bit of him uncolored - snow is white after all :)
I hope you will give our new challenge a try!  If you need a little inspiration the design team has lots to share - just click on their names below to jump to their blog.

This is such a happy and fun card. As usual, your layering is just so thoughtful, creative and beautiful. I love how you colored this guy, too. It is so realistic. Cathy has supplied me with enough to participate in this challenge, too, so look for me in the next week or so.

So you know I have already peeked at your card...more than once, I admit, so I am well prepared to tell you all the things I love about it! I say it every time, but your coloring and shading is beautiful. I also say every time that your bow is fabulous. It is, but those fancy little sparklies and the black square doily...never seen that before, by the way are just my very favorite! Beautiful card and so perfect for anyone with a Winter birthday!
