You Always Know How To Make Me Feel Better

It's another cold rainy day here in the Midwest. I'm trying to focus on the bright side.. all the bulbs that will begin to grow! I'm also playing along at "Beyond The Blue" Challenge where they're looking for FLOWERS!

These florals are Waffle Flower Narcissus and they're so pretty! I colored mine with Copic markers in shades of yellow.

Now for the background! I was originally leaning to garden green but couldn't resist the contrast of the blue with the yellow. The Elongated Hex panel is gold hot foil. It's got a coordinating stencil tat makes coloring the inside easy. I added a Nuvo glitter paste to the insides of the hex to add little hex shaped jewels.

I added a frame along the outside of the card with the Nesting Stitched Rectangles set.

I attached the florals with adhesive foam tape and the leaves flat to the card base. I like the dimension this adds. The sentiment is from the Hello Friend stamp set. I love that the coordinating die cuts around the words making them look fussy cut.
