Dang Your Awesome

Today I'm playing along at Moving Along With The Times. I know lots of us don't make many masculine cards. Sometimes it get's tricky. I know it's easier for me to reach for flowers too!

I'm no expert with stencils.. I think I have my color blending down but stencils? not so much. I appreciate an opportunity to experiment! Today I'm playing with the Waffle Flower Speech Bubbles stencil.

I started by inking some white cardstock with light blue and green. Then I came in with the stencil and inked with dark blue and green. I've discovered Pixie Spray Adhesive and would recommend that to EVERYONE. It' holds your stencil in place so you can get clean inked images, and the adhesive is light so it doesn't tear or rip your paper when you remove the stencil.

I topped the background with some Nesting Rectangle Frames to create a focal point for the speech bubble sentiments. I think that's been the hard part for me.. what to put on top of the beautiful inky stenciled background once you finish. It's hard to cover up the inking.
