Spellbinders Thanksgiving Interactive Card AND A SALE!

Well hello there! I hope you are having a great day. Today I'm sharing an interactive card.. something you don't see from me everyday! I'm always impressed and delighted with an interactive card, but I will be honest.. they sort of scare me. I always assume they are very complicated.
This card was made with the Spellbinders Festive Wreath Slider Card Large Die of the Month. If you haven't seen Spellbinders in a while it's time to give them another look.

They have several "kit of the month" that you can subscribe to. They are a great value and the subscription price includes shipping. It's a great way to treat yourself and it's nice to be surprised every month with a new die set. If you don't like a surprise you can still buy the kit AFTER it's released.
The kit I'm working with today is from the Large Die Kit of the Month Series from June 2019.
The die set includes all the pieces to cut an interactive card. It includes the base, the tag, the slider middle and lots of pieces for making a seasonal wreath. I cut the leaves and acorns from several colors of card stock and attached them to the included circle wreath.
What makes this set even better is that there are bitty die cuts to make wreaths for several holidays. You'll find Easter eggs and bunnies, clover, snowflakes, balloons and more!

The design is very simple, just pull the tag and the front of the card slides up and the wreath stands.
I adhered pattern paper over white card stock before cutting the pieces to make the card more durable, but it really wasn't necessary.
For someone like me, who is afraid of interactive cards, there are no more reasons to run. This couldn't have been easier. The hardest part was waiting for the adhesive on the colorful leaves to dry so I could complete the card.
The Thanksgiving die cut sentiment is from another Spellbinders Kit of the Month - this is from the Give Thanks Small Die Kit of The Month. It's another older set, but is still available here.
I'm delighted with how this card turned out, and when I'm done playing with it I'll send it to my parents because I know they'll get a kick out of it too!

Spellbinders is having a great sale right now!

AND past Kits from previous months like the one I used today are on sale for 40% off!
