Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

It's a great day for a visit! Today is the third and final day of the Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop!  If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Rachel Kleinman's blog.  If you'd like to start at the beginning and get all the details, you'll find them here at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

This month's release has lots of events covered including new baby, summer holidays, graduation, and weddings too.

My card today features the new Big Celebration Cupcake that you can decorate with patriotic images, fruits, picnic, and fireworks!

I loved all the images so I had to incorporate as many as possible into my design!

I love all the different fruits.. .blueberries, lemon (or is it a lime?), and a strawberry too! And those little ants!? Well I think they never miss a meal do they?

I lit up the "sky" with fireworks and added a little "USA" flag too. This set includes the flag, and the usa letters on a separate die. I double cut the flag to cut out the letters and then put a solid white flag behind the red one.

Are you ready to see more designs made with this new release? Your next stop is Lauren Taylor.  But before you go... please leave a comment. You need to leave a comment to win!!

Giveaways
There are 3 $30 gift certificates up for grabs (one winner each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 5/15/2024. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Wildflower

I hope you're having a great day! I've been longing for a change of scenery and finally feel like sunshine and blue skies are just around the corner. Spring is in the air and I'm starting to see fruit trees, lilacs and flowers in bloom!

Today I'm sharing a card made with the Pretty Little Studio Good Vibes Collection. This collection is summer sunshine on paper! I love the bright color scheme and retro 70's feel fonts.

I stacked printed papers behind a journaling card to create a focal point for the "wildflower" sentiment. I surrounded the sentiment with die cut flowers and a smaller strip sentiment to convey my message of love.

If you look close you'll see the sentiment and florals are raised with adhesive foam tape to add dimension to the card.

The finishing touch is a sprinkle of black sequins to contrast with all the color in the collection. Have a great day!

Waffle Flower May Release Instagram Hop

I hope you've liked the sneak peeks of the new Waffle Flower May Beach Days release that you've been seeing over the past few days! It's finally here and available for purchase in the shop!

There are LOTS of giveaways on Instagram today. All you have to do is search #WaffleFlowerGiveaway and most of the posts you find will have a prize including mine @jeannejachna  Look for the above graphic for my giveaway post.

This release was a fun trip seaside. My card today features the new Happy Seagull die set. He's happy because he's got his choice of a bucket of fish or fries.

I'm just about land locked here in Indiana, but I'm not too far from Lake Michigan. It's not uncommon to find flocks of seagulls in the local mall parking lot looking for a free meal and most of the time that's going to be fries.

I hate seeing the little guys fight so I throw them as far apart as possible. Do you always look for the little guy that didn't get any? That's me.. always trying to make sure he gets one too.

The Sea Foam Stencil is perfect for adding a wave to your design. I tore the stenciled sheet and added some chunky glitter to make it look more like foam.

I hope you love the new release and that it brings back great memories of your own of good times by the water.
