Waffle Flower Under The Sea Panel

Do you love die cuts? I can't resist the clean lines and possibilities they present. I still think it's magic when I put paper and a metal die in my machine and a few turns later out comes a beautiful cut piece of paper!
Today I'm playing at Happy Little Stampers and really cutting it close to the wire because there are only hours left to play before they have a six month hiatus! SO if you're reading this and want to play you better check the clock!
This is the new Waffle Flower Under the Sea die. It's an A2 panel die that comes complete with seaweed, coral and a boulder. I cut them several times to add more details to my underwater scene.
All the pieces and the background panel the cover plate is laid over are inked with distress ink and splattered with water.
I stamped a sentiment from Under The Sea Sentiments directly on the background panel so it would peek through the die cut openings.
A sprinkle of sparkling clear sequins adds some sparkle and shine!
I hope you find some time to play today! Hugs!

Spellbinder June 2020 Card Kit Club of the Month

Have you ever wished for a complete card kit that had EVERYTHING you needed to make lots of pretty cards? I mean everything including pattern paper, card stock, die cut images, stickers, card bases, adhesive, card stock and embellishments? Well look no further! The Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month includes all that and more! There's even a stamp set and metal dies included that you'll have long after all your supplies are gone!
I shared a post earlier this month with four cards, today I'm sharing four more! And there are still lots of left overs to make more!!
The theme of this kit is summer get togethers like BBQ's and parties. I think these would make great invitations or a note to a coworker to plan a night out!

The die kit that comes with the set has everything you need to make all of these beautiful flowers, so long after the papers are gone you'll still have a beautiful die cut set to create with. I love the layered die cut flowers and berries. I used the card stock colors that came with the kit, but you can make these in any color you like!
The kit comes with a 6" pad of patterned paper as well as sheets of colorful card stock for die cutting and embellishing.
There are lots of Southwest and Mexican themed images like paper picados and cacti! I love the guitar that reminds me of mariachi's and a night out with the girls for margaritas! Isn't this llama adorable?
I cut pattern paper with scissors for a hilly landscape for the llama.  This kit even includes the sequins and the adhesives to put the cards together (a roll of double sided tape and adhesive foam squares).
Here's another close up of these beautiful die cut florals! The kit even includes a set of foam alphabet letters that look like they were dipped in gold!
The Spellbinders card kit is $38.50 a month. This includes shipping to the USA. A new kit is revealed on the first of every month. If you subscribe the kit will be automatically be delivered to your door. It's a great way to treat yourself. And.. if you don't like surprises, you can always order the kit after you've seen it on the first of the month. You'll make lots of pretty cards, and as mentioned you'll still have the die set that's include in the kit when all your supplies are gone. It' was a real pleasure to play with and I can't wait to see what they have for us next time! Click the box below to see the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month.

Beautiful Blue Birthday Blooms!

Hi friends! Are you looking for a card challenge to play? A new one starts today at Fusion Card Challenge! You'll love this challenge because there are three ways to play.. you can play along with the sketch, be inspired by the photo, or FUSE them together and play with BOTH!
This week's challenge is an indoor scene. I focused on the colors this time. I see sky blue chairs, a lime green garden stool, and pops of yellow on the table top.

If you're not inspired by the photo, that's ok.. just work with the sketch! If you're feeling really clever you can fuse them both TOGETHER!

I die cut Altenew Rose flurries from ombre shades of blue card stock in shades of baby blue to navy! I added a pop of yellow in the smaller flowers and some lime int he foliage.
The background is a simple distress ink blended with cosmetic brushes in complimentary shades.
A simple sentiment is from the Beautiful Lady Stamp set. I didn't want to cover up the beautiful florals so I kept the sentiment simple.

Now it's your turn! Now it's your turn! Are you ready to play? I wonder how you will interpret the photo! Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.

I hope I see you at Fusion Card Challenge! I cant wait to see what you make!
