Dear December and A Sale!

The die cut "Words" and "Titles" packs include lots of great sentiments in several different fonts so you can find just the right words. You'll find tags, faux stamps, label maker sentiments, flag and label sentiments too.

I embellished this tall tag with a sweet Santa and some holly and berry die cuts adhered with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension.

To get more from your supplies try cutting some of the images from the papers or journaling cards. The circle Santa image above was cut with a circle punch and adhered to a journaling card that had a small sentiment along the top edge. I covered the preprinted sentiment with the circular image and added a larger bold sentiment.

The collection includes two different washi patterns and word strip stickers to add finishing touches to your designs. I like to add them along the seams where different papers meet.

I let the sentiment on this oversized postage stamp take center stage. I simply layered it over pattern paper and added packages, holly and a postage cancellation stamp to complete the design.

Birthday Wishes and A Sale !

Today I'm playing at Die Cut Divas and this month is all about the critters! If you're hoping to play along you better hurry!

My card today is all die cuts! The cute little dog is from Pretty Pink Posh. He's part of the "holder" die series that have cut out arms so you can place different items in their hands. Different holders include a dog, cat, ghost, gingerbread person, fox and penguin.

There is also a holder additions series (Christmas, Easter, Valentine) so you can choose different elements for occasions to compliment your holder dies. I used the Birthday Holder Additions that includes the presents, birthday cupcake, and hat.

I added the Party Balloon from another set, and die cut the Wish sentiment included in the Birthday Holder Additions from an Eyelet Circle. The background is some stitched scallop Stacked Edges. I love that they piece together like puzzle pieces and lay completely FLAT.

I can always use another birthday card in my stash and I love how bright and colorful this one is! Have a great day!

My card today features the new Pet Angels stamp and die set. It includes a pup and a kitty, the rainbow, hearts, paw prints and sentiments.

I'm a huge pet lover and it breaks my heart when someone looses a furry friend. My girl is getting up there in age and isn't in the best health, but every day she is still here with me is a blessing. I hope this card brings comfort to someone with a heart break.

The background is a rainbow of Distress Ink applied using the Cloudy Day stencil. I just inked a cloud line, turned the stencil and inked a new color starting with the pink and working my way down to the blue.
