Friends Forever

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a card made with the Pretty Little Studio Love Is Kind Collection!

This collection is a real treat! The colors are mostly primary with a twist... the red is more of a melon color and the blues are closer to aqua. The messages are friendship and love, and the flowers couldn't be prettier!

I like to use the 3x4" journaling cards to create focal points. This collection has a few of the cards with words die cut from them. On my card today the word "FRIEND" is cut out to create a window perfect for layering over the pretty papers.

This collection has a "MIXED" pack of papers that are printed with different patterns to look like they were pieced together. This takes the guesswork out of paper piecing and projects come together quick.

Penguin Mug Greetings and a Giveaway!

Hi friends! I hope you're keeping warm because Baby it's COLD outside! I love this time of year because I get to bake and let me tell you.. the house smells terrific!

Have you seen these cute little Penguin Mugs from Pretty Pink Posh? I think they're adorable. The set includes a left and right hand mug, complete with whipped cream and marshmallows. The set includes some small circle die cuts for eyes, but I thought these were more fun!

I layered mine over a Pierced Snowflake background and then added some Snowy Hills alternating white and glitter cardstock.

The finishing touch was a Christmas Banner Greeting. I added a little Stitched Snowflake topped with a bitty heart from the XOXO Heart Border so add a little love to the design.

Holy Night

Today I'm playing along at I Spy With My Little Eye.. Something Festive for Christmas!

I love when a company starts with a product - like the Waffle Flower Open Book, or Postage Collage Series just as examples and then continues to add new products that work together with it. So if you have this Open Book Die, you'll find that there are different stencil designs to ink the pages.

I used the Open Book Nativity stencil set this time. There's also a coordinating stamp set with sentiments designed to work with the nativity images.

I layered the book over a Starburst Panel and then added some foliage from the Poinsettia Cluster die set.
