Waffle Flower March Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

Thanks for stopping by! It's day one of sneak peeks of the latest Waffle Flower Crafts release. Get ready to whip up some fun with our Baking Fun release! We’ve got new stencils for both Postage Collage and Nesting Postage Collage, baking icon dies, cheerful backgrounds, and great sentiments for birthdays and beyond!
I love when my hobbies collide and this month is a perfect example! I love to papercraft and I love to BAKE! Crumbl cookies is one of my favorites, but if I have a choice between home baked or store bought, I'm always going for the home made. It's so worth the effort! Just like a hand made card!
I inked the new Postage Collage Baking Fun on the Postage Collage die cut. I added some stamps from the original Postage Collage stamp set as well as a few from Postage Collage Birthday.
The striped background was created with the Postage Collage Coloring stencil set from a previous release. I ink it on a large panel of white cardstock and the die cut it with a Piercing Layers die. I love the little extra detail the piercing adds.
I hope you'll stop by tomorrow when we'll be sharing more peeks of the latest release. Everything you see will be available in the shop on March 5.

Pink & Main So Lucky Collection

Today I'm playing at the Pretty Papers Challenge where this time it's anything goes with an option of RED.
Pink and Main really surprised me this release with new papers and matching accessories. You'll find two different packs of prints and one pack of solids that are all coordinated to work together.

They also have a pack of ephemera die cuts that are "lucky" themed. It includes lots of die cut sentiments, some florals, horseshoes and rainbows.
I love pattern paper so I had lots of fun making with the collection. The finishing touch was a few sprinkles

If you love papers too I hope you check out the challenge and play along!

Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 Winter/Spring February Edition Part 2

Today I’m sharing four cards made with the latest Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 for Winter/Spring. The paper pack includes (12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers (and the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side!). I also used the exclusive die cuts and wordstrip stickers on my designs.
From ringing in the new year in January, Valentine fun in February, and the magic of Spring in bloom, everything in the Winter/Spring Season Pass 2.0 is designed to help you capture the season’s most meaningful moments with ease and style. My focus today was creating four February/Valentine/Love themed cards.
This kit is ideal for documenting special moments or creating fun cards to celebrate the change of season with family and friends. The papers and die cuts are easy to separate into the different occasions, but are also perfectly coordinated to work together if you like.
I think these cards will be great for sending love across the miles, and for celebrating anniversary or engagement news. Whatever you decide, you know it’s going to look great because everything is color matched and designed by Layle who also loves to make!
I like to use the 3x4” journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. They are usually a solid color which makes them perfect for layering over busy pattern papers. Some even have printed sentiments so all you need to do is add embellishments!
I arrange the different elements on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. I can arrange and re arrange elements until I'm happy before I commit and adhere everything in place. This also allows me to slip the different pattern papers underneath to get a preview of the finished design.
I always add the wordstrip stickers last. I like to use them like washi, along the seams where two papers meet. They add the perfect little detail to each design.
The kit has everything you need to make all of my cards. The only items I added are the card bases, solid cardstock matts, adhesives and gems from my stash. Here's a photo of all four cards together so you can see the variety of things you can make.
Thanks again for stopping by!  Have a great day!
