Blooming With Gratitude

Flowers are always in season here because they're my favorite! Today I'm sharing a seed packet design loaded with color!

The background starts with the Floral Frame Die. It's got a double pierced edge that's beautiful on it's own. It's designed to cut a stamped image, but I didn't use that stamp. I topped that with a smaller piece of lighter cardstock that I embossed with a Quilted impression. I gave that a soft swipe with an ink pad to bring out the pattern.

Next I wrapped the card with Dress Shop hot pink twine and then adhered the Seed Packet die over the twine with adhesive foam tape. I left a "channel" for the twine so it lays smooth under the raised seed packet.

The florals in the seed packet set can be cut in the colors of your choice and the images can be stamped with sentiments from the coordinating sentiment stamp set.

Halloween Kitties

Today I'm playing at Sweet Stampin' Challenge where they're looking for Halloween or Halloween colors. I think I've got both of those covered! LOL! I love Halloween and I could make with it all year round!

Honestly it makes me a little sad that Halloween is less than a week away! Time is flying! My card today is made with the Pink & Main Halloween Kitties stamps and dies. I love when I can make a card with one stamp set! This set includes all the figures and some sentiments too!

I colored the images with Copic Markers and then layed them out on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. This helps me figure out how far up the grass should go or how much sky to add.

The cloudy sky was inked with a stencil using Distress Ink. I added some stars and bats, and then stamped the sentiment directly on the inky panel along the bottom.

Pretty Pink Posh Insta Hop and Giveaway!

I made a scene card cutting waves of solid and glitter cardstock with the Snowy Hills Border die set. I added some trees with the Winter Trees die set that you can find at Simon Says Stamp or Scrapbook Dot Com.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Cookies stamp set that has a coordinating die set that fussy cuts the letters.
