You Make Me Capy!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. DH is still not back to work and my Mom has been needing more attention lately. Feeling torn on days like this .. wondering if I should keep making or just step away. It's hard to choose between two things that you love.

Today I'm playing at Creative Knockouts where cards for kids! I have a hard time figuring out what that means too because maybe I'm just a big kid at heart. I'm going to say this one qualifies, although at the same time I know I'd be delighted to see this one in my mailbox!

This is the Oh Capy Day stamp set from Pink and Main. It's got cute little Capybaras and lots of punny sentiments. I tried to include as many of the images from the set on my design as possible, but I'm thinking I might have missed a few!

The background is a simple Distress Oxide. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background to keep it even cleaner. I wanted to let the images do all the talking!

Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 Summer Edition

Today I’m sharing four cards made with the latest Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 for Spring/Summer. The paper pack includes (12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers (and the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side!). The papers are a high quality matt finish, and the pack now includes a full sheet of monthly cut-apart cards in 3x4 & 4x6 sizes.

I like to use the 3x4” journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. They are usually a solid color which makes them perfect for layering over busy pattern papers. Some even have printed sentiments so all you need to do is add embellishments!

My favorite card to make includes a scene. The die cut pack includes 84 printed die cut images that are sized to work together. For June you’ll find die bicycles, flowers, fresh berries, beach accessories, and sentiments.

You’ll also find rub ons, a stamp set and wordstrip stickers that make creating even more fun! The kit has everything you need to make all of my cards. The only items I added are the card bases, solid cardstock matts, adhesives and gems from my stash.

These cards will be used to send smiles across the miles with Summer greetings and travel wishes. I know my daughter and her family will love the beach themed cards and those yummy strawberries!
