My Creative Scrapbook May 2026 Main Kit

The theme this month is summer inspired.. think butterflies and flowers, as well as refreshing lemons, strawberries and cool drinks.

The papers in this kit are plaids, gingham, dots, and florals in rainbow colors of Red, Pink, Creamy Orange, Yellow, Green and Aqua. There's a pop of black in accents and sentiments that adds great contrast.

I had fun arranging the different elements. I usually group them together to fit a common theme - like the card above I wanted to look like butterflies in a meadow, and the card below with the fresh lemons and the pitcher of lemonade.

When I have my layout decided I'll try to go in and add a few more pieces like the flowers and the butterfly on this card.

Everything you see on my cards is included in the kit EXCEPT for the white cardstock card bases, solid cardstock cover matts, adhesives and enamel dots. Things that you already probably have in your stash right now.

You'll have fun making cards or documenting memories with this kit. No matter what your style too. I love to make scene cards, but collage, mixed media, clean and simple, layered..... whatever your style you make this kit yours!

Sending Sunshine!

Can you believe it's Monday already? Where did the weekend go? We spent time at my Mom's for Mother's Day. And got a few projects accomplished for her as well. She's having therapy and needs a few changes to accommodate her mobility. Today I'm playing along at Dragonfly Dreams where they want you to use a die cut this time.

This one is almost entirely die cuts. Starting with the Dashed Diamond Texture background that I cut from white cardstock and then inked with Distress.

Next I cut and assembled the Floral Shelf die and then added vases and flowers (all the dies are in the same set.).

The finishing touch was the bitty Butterfly Duo and some enamel dots for flower centers!

Picture Perfect

If you're a fan of the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Series you'll be happy to see the latest addition to the collection - the new Postage Collage Frames.

The Postage Collage Frames are a set of stamps that create ornate stamped frames. The coordinating die set cuts out their centers leaving a small white matt edge on the inside. Your Postage Collage stencil images fit perfectly inside the frames.

I inked my frames with Versafine Claire to get a solid detailed inky coverage of the stamps. If you use your Misti you'll have no trouble double stamping to get full coverage on these solid stamps.

The images I selected are from the Postage Collage Picture Perfect Stencil set. The Picture Perfect Detail stamp set adds the lines you see stamped in black that complete or help define the stenciled images.
