You're My Lucky Charm!

I have to tell you that I was really surprised with the latest release from Pink and Main. This release included three packs of coordinating paper with rub ons and ephemera (printed die cut images).

The papers are a nice weight and a bit glossy. Each sheet is 8.5 x 5.5" - enough to cover two A2 size cards with some scraps to create faux washi.

The ephemera is mostly die cut sentiments with a "Lucky" theme that you can use on other projects. I used a horseshoe a a focal point and added a sentiment and florals.

I added gems to the horseshoe for a little sparkle and shine. I anything St. Patrick's day HAS TO HAVE some gold and the Ballroom Gems are my favorite!

Lucky Clover

Can you believe it's Monday already? And a time change Monday? Maybe you need a little pick me up. How about this rainbow striped lucky shamrock?

I sure hope you're smiling! I can't resist a rainbow! You're supposed to follow the rainbow to find the pot of gold right?

I topped the rainbow Striped Stitched background with a double cut Decorative Shamrock. The bottom layer is gold glitter topped with a white cardstock with green inlay shamrocks. I left the "dots" empty so the gold peeks through the openings.

The finishing touch is a Lucky Shadow die cut in vellum and more gold glitter paper, and a sprinkle of Metallic Gold Pearls.

Green Shamrocks

Today I'm playing at Festive Friday where this time it's all about St. Patrick's Day! I love that there is so much to choose from this year! I'm not Irish but you know I love to celebrate!

My card starts with a Foilable Green Shamrocks panel from Pik & Main! I used Leafy Green Cheerfoil and let me tell you this panel is all about the shine! Some day I'm going to figure out how to get a better photo where the foil doesn't look black! The package includes both negative and positive prints so you can decide on the amount of foil you want on your design.

I topped the panel with some stacked Flag Banners and Circles and finally a stamped Sentiment. The gold with the foiled panel is really gorgeous!

The finishing touch is a pretty stacked shamrock with a green jewel center! The new Horseshoe die set includes a horseshoe and different size shamrocks that you can stack. The stems are separate cuts so you can decide if you want to use them or not.
