Layle By Mail Season Pass - January / Winter

Today I’m sharing four cards made with the latest Layle By Mail Season Pass 2.0 for Winter/Spring. The paper pack includes (12) exclusive 12x12 double-sided papers (and the 12x12 cover sheet also has an additional pattern on the back side!). I also used the exclusive die cuts and wordstrip stickers on my designs.

From ringing in the new year in January, Valentine fun in February, and the magic of Spring in bloom, everything in the Winter/Spring Season Pass 2.0 is designed to help you capture the season’s most meaningful moments with ease and style. My focus today was creating four January/Winter themed cards.

This kit is ideal for documenting special moments or creating fun cards to celebrate the change of season with family and friends. The papers and die cuts are easy to separate into the different occasions, but are also perfectly coordinated to work together if you like. Just as an example.. the die cuts include some birds that are probably more appropriate for Spring, but my mind kept thinking snowbirds!

I like to use the 3x4” journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. They are usually a solid color which makes them perfect for layering over busy pattern papers. Some even have printed sentiments so all you need to do is add embellishments!

The die cut pack also includes some labels perfect for personalizing your designs. You can add the name of the recipient or a sentiment. This label with the little snowflake print was perfect for framing the larger snowflake I used.

The kit has everything you need to make all of my cards. The only items I added are the card bases, solid cardstock matts, adhesives and gems from my stash.

Whatever you decide, you know it’s going to look great because everything is color matched and perfectly coordinated to work together.

My Creative Scrapbook January 2026 Main Kit

You never know what will be in the kit every month and I really enjoy the surprise in the mail. It's like receiving a gift, and I'm always delighted with what I find inside the box. Quality papers that are relevant to the time of year delivered straight to my door! This time it's all about winter! The colors are shades of blue with a pop of green and red. The prints are dots, plaids, woodgrain, florals, pine trees and cute cottage cabins.

The images and sentiments are pure snow fun! You'll find sleds, snowmen, snowbirds, mittens, woodland animals, and lots of vintage signs, ledgers and tickets.

I like to use the 3x4" journaling cards and journaling bits sheet to create focal points for my designs. I don't limit myself to whatever sentiment is printed on them, it's easy to cover them with images or perhaps a larger sentiment.. it's all up to you!

I make my own sheets of foam adhesive by purchasing inexpensive craft foam and adding double sided tape to the front and back. Then I just cut the size I need to raise small or large embellishments. Adding some dimension this way gives your designs a fussier layered look.

Everything you see on my cards is included in the kit EXCEPT for the white cardstock card bases, solid cardstock cover matts, adhesives and gems. Things that you already probably have in your stash right now.

You'll have fun making cards or documenting memories with this kit. No matter what your style too. I love to make scene cards, but collage, mixed media, clean and simple, layered..... whatever your style you make this kit yours!

Pink & Main January Release and Giveaway!

The Pink and Main release is here! We've got lots of new products for Spring and Easter including the new Pop Up Basket that comes with a basketful of decorated eggs and two banner sentiments. You can use the basket alone or pair it with coordinating add on die sets including the Bunny In The Basket Add On and Bunny Tail Basket Add On.

The basket is super easy to assemble. The hardest part would be adhering the "grass" panels inside the box. My first attempt I used liquid glue which was a mess. The second attempt with super sticky adhesive tape provided success - no mess, just clean secure adhesion.
  

The dies are designed so really you can't make any mistakes. The grassy layer cuts out the flower outlines so all you need to do is top them with the die cut flowers. It really couldn't get any easier and the finished design is super cute! The best part is that it folds flat so you can mail this one in a regular envelope.
