Today I'm playing At Dream Valley Challenge where they're asking you to use at least two different pattern papers. That's easy peasy!

Today I'm playing with the Layle By Mail Postcards & Passports collection. If you're on the go and like to see it all this collection is for you.

It doesn't matter if you like to road trip or if you're jet set this collection has you covered.

You'll find pretty papers with cool prints like geo tags, luggage, airplanes, stamps and more like dots, stripes, and words too!

Everything you see on my cards is from the collection with the exception of the card baes, adhesives, twine, solid cardstock and gems from my stash.

Donut Know What I'd Do Without You

Today I'm playing at Try it on Tuesday where they want you to add some text to your design. That's easy right? If we've never met I'll tell you a secret... . I have a sweet tooth! Walk me past the donuts and of course I want one!

For this card I started with a clean white panel of cardstock and then stamped the sentiments in alternating shades of pink.

I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and then added the assembled donuts from the Box of Donuts die set to the card.

The donuts are easy to assemble and have different toppings.. sprinkles, drippy icing or glaze. There's even a donut with a bite missing (don't look at me!).

Your The Bubbles In My Tea

Today I'm playing along at The Card Concept where you have your choice of challenges. I'm playing along with the Cozy New Year inspiration photo..

I confess that the only warm drink I have this time of year would be a hot cocoa. But what I really want is something on ice.. a diet Coke, a Vanilla Crème Frappuccino or an Iced Tea.

So I made an black milk Boba tea with foam and a cherry. I stayed with the colors of the challenge - brown white and red (the cherry). I decided on the green straw because the color just pops!

This is the Cool Drink to Go from Pink & Main. It includes dies ready to assemble your favorite drink in layers. You can use the plastic dome lid if you have topping or the flat cup cap ready for your straw. The dies include the Boba, ice cubes and the cherry too! You'll find the perfect sentiments in the Big Boba stamp set.

The fun papers with the cocoa beans and grid pattern are from the Donut Forget paper pack, and the fancy corners are from the Fun Corners die set that includes 9 different corners to choose from. The finishing touch is a sprinkle of Ballroom Gems.

You're So Sweet

Today I'm playing at The Neglected Stuff Challenge. It's smart to get the most out of products you already own. The challenge this time is anything goes so no excuses for not playing!

This card started with rainbow Distress Ink blended panel in light shades. Next I added darker shades of the same colors using the Doodle Print stencil that is retired.

The Fruity Combo fruits were inked with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with alcohol markers. They're adhered with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension.  The Fruity Combo stamp and die set is still available. 

The sentiment is from the Fruity Sentiments stamp set that is retired.

Heart Critters

I'm playing along at Shopping Our Stash where this time the theme is Love Me Do. Shopping Our Stash reminds us to get the most out of the products we already have. My card today is made with the Pretty Pink Posh Heart Critters stamp set! They're perfect for your Valentine's of all ages and they come together quick!

My card starts with a Distress Oxide background in Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin, Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron! When I find a color combination that I like I make several at a time. I splattered the panel with water, some watered down Salty Ocean and Dr. P.H. Martins Bleed Proof White ink - it's my favorite for extra white splatter!

I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than my card base and then adhered the Heart Critters with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. The little critters are colored with Copic markers, but the clean line designs will look great no mater what your favorite media. This set even includes sentiments with coordinating die cuts!

I scattered some of the hearts from the set as well as some shimmery pearls in shades to match the background inks. Pretty Pink Posh has a color that will match ALL your projects!

Christmas Cheer!

Have you seen the newest collection from Pretty Little Studio? It's called Candy Cane and it's just gorgeous!

I'm loving the bright colors, cheerful prints and images in this collection. My favorites would have to be the die cut strings of garland and fun hand drawn florals and foliage.

I used a clear sticker sentiment on my card today. I simple stuck it on a piece of white cardstock and then die cut it with and oval die. You could easily use a punch in another shape. This collection even has clear sticker faux stitches for embellishing.

I used some stacked frames to create a focal point for the sentiment and then topped it with a great big poinsettia die cut. A string of garland wraps around the sentiment drawing your eye down to the sticker stitches.

It's never a bad time to start working on your holiday cards, and when this paper is so pretty it feels magical making!
