My Creative Scrapbook August Main Kit

This time I'm playing with the Main Kit that includes 12" papers and embellishments from Simple Stories "Sunny Days" Collection as well as a few others to surprise you. You'll also find die cuts, stickers, chipboard, and lots more! Everything is hand selected with care and perfectly coordinated to work together and shipped directly to your door!

This time it's all about summer! You'll find bright colorful prints and images inspired by sunshine and blue skies! Think cool treats, beach vibes, and garden blooms!

This kit has lots of embellishments to choose from. I like to lay them all out so I know what I have. I add powder to the back of the sticker elements to turn them into "die cuts" so I can move them around as much as I like before I adhere them in place.

I like to use the cut apart 3x4 journaling cards to make focal points so the die cut images don't fade into the busy background papers.

The kit has lots of different elements that I like to pair together. This kit had lots of images of cold treats, beach elements, and elements for outdoor activities. I separated these for separate themed cards.

I arrange the images on clear plastic sheets the size of my card front. This gives me a preview of what the finished card will look like before I commit and adhere everything in place. I can also slide pattern paper under the arrangement to see if my choices work well together.

The kit includes everything you need to make these cards. The only items I added were the card bases, solid cardstock papers, and adhesives. This time my kit included some sequins and buttons too that you'll see scattered throughout my designs.
