Celebrate with Cake!

Today I'm playing along at Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Blog Challenge where it's always BEWAS - Birthdays Engagements, Weddings, Anniversary and Sympathy. The optional theme this month is graduation.
I think cake is good for just about every occasion - I know it always makes me feel better! LOL! This is the cake slice die from Pretty Pink Posh. I've made it in chocolate, confetti and now yellow cake with pink buttercream icing. I guess my mind is on Mother's Day!

I used an Eyelet Oval as a pretty plate, or is it a doily? Floral embellishments seemed like the perfect fit for this yummy pink cake!
The candle comes with the Cake Slice die set. I decided to add some layered circles to add some "light" to the candle. The background is a few streamers and a sprinkle of confetti.
I hope you have a great day with some time to play!

This could work for birthday and graduation! Seems like most of us want a special cake to eat and share with family and friends for our occasions! Thanks Jeanne for creating and sharing at HQCOLCB! With lots of themes, please come back again soon! -- Becca

P.S. Check out FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges blog for its anything food goes theme! FQGGCB #17 is still open until May 27th. We're also doing a beverage collaboration with Deanne's First Cup Challenges during this challenge but AFG-themed projects can still be linked up to FQGGCB! -- Becca
