Hap-Bee Fall

You know it's fall when the bees seem to be everywhere! They're in a hurry to collect all the sweet nectar they can to get them through the winter! And while they can cause a stir trying to get a sip of your soda, they just couldn't get any cuter in this Hap-Bee Fall stamp set from Pink & Main!

 

I had fun coloring the clean line images with alcohol markers. After they were cut I arranged them on a panel of clear plastic the size of my card base. This allows me to rearrange them as many times as I like before committing and adhering them in place.

The clear plastic also allows me to place different colored backgrounds underneath for a "sneak peek" preview of the finished design. In this case I created a blended ink panel with Distress Ink. Splattering the panel adds some dimension to the design. And stamping the sentiment on the inky panel keeps the design clean.

I added the little bees with adhesive foam tape to pop them up so they look like they're flying. The flower centers have glittery enamel dots in their centers for some sparkle and shine!
