Take One Day At A Time

This weekend seemed to be gone in a flash. The weather here is cold and rainy so we didn't get to spend much time outside. I'm starting to see a trend here as fall come on. It's a good time to remember to take one day at a time.

My card starts with a stencil striped background made with the Waffle Flower Stripes Builder Stencil in ombre shades of yellow/orange Distress Ink.
I created a faux frame with the Additional Circles die set. First a cut a circle from white cardstock and then I cut a circle from a distress inked panel.
The sentiment and images are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Versafine is a pigment ink so it stamps crisp and clean.. no bleeding into the Distress Ink background.
The finishing touch are a few well placed enamel dots in citrus orange of course! Have a great day and don't sweat the small stuff! I'm linking up to CAS on Friday where they're looking for STRIPES!
