MMB#23 Orange Flower

Hi everybody!   It's Sunday evening and the weekend is winding down.  The weather has been really horible here today so I am hoping I will get all my posting done before the power goes out!  The sky has been dark and stormy since noon!!   Good news!  My dad is out of the hospital and back at home.  I went to visit him today and he's looking good.  He's got one big room set up like an apartment - he even had someone move his bed down stairs so he doesn't have to worry about going up and down the steps.

Today I'm playing along with the WPlus9 Monday Mood Board.  My stamping time helps me relax and I feel like I'm in over drive lately so I'm happy to play along.  I'm not so good with color challenges - I'm more of a visual thinker - so the inspiration photo is always easier for me to work with.  Check out all the elements here to choose from!  I got wrapped up in that yummy orange flower with the lime green berries.  I added a few of the other elements like the twine, button and a bit of kraft paper.  I decided on the Thankful sentiment because there are so many things I am thankful for - mostly for my bloggie friends checking in on me and keeping me sane lately!  I hope someday I can return the kindness!

Big Hugs!  Have a beautiful day!

Beautifully done Jeanne! I like how you kept true to the color scheme . Some of us just picked out the tiny bit of pink. I love the way you had the twine come down and almost look like an oval .....gorgeous bow too.
