Stampin' Royalty Challenge #97- Bird Song

Hi!  I  hope everyone is having a great day.  I'm  doing well!  I wanted to go for a walk today but it is cold and rainy here.  Maybe it will clear up by tonight and me and the pup can get a few miles in!  The fall weather presents another challenge taking photo's because the house is so dark.  I think I'm going to put a few lamps on my Christmas list!

This is the challenge at Stampin' Royalty this week.   The circles grabbed me immediately and I thought I'd try a technique I'd seen on line but never tried.  I embossed the circles on to some plain white card stock.  Then I masked off the circles and stamped the background with Pic Nic Patterns from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Lastly I went back and stamped the images in the circles and colored them in with some Copic markers.  I sprinkled a few buttons to mimic the spools of thread in the challenge photo.

If you'd like to play along this week you can get all the details here:  http://stampinroyalty.blogspot.com/2011/11/stampin-royalty-challenge-97.html

Thanks for stopping by!

Jeanne

Wow! This is so good! It is so representative of the inspiration pic, those circles are really good and the buttons really tie in the inspiration pic. Glad you are starting to feel like your old self!
