Are you counting down to Easter? It will be here before you know it! I'm hopeful that I can get the family together for a good home made meal. We're trying to see each other more often and time goes so fast!
Today I'm playing along with the mood board at We Dare You to Create A Smile Challenge. I spy lots of pastels and some yummy sweets and treats.My card starts with the Waffle Flower Diagonal Stripes background panel cut from pastel shades. I cut the panel from each shade of cardstock so I have enough to make four backgrounds by alternating the colors. I topped the panel with the Elegant Oval Frame cut from white cardstock. It's the perfect size for the new Spring Egg. The Spring Egg die cuts images on an egg shape larger background. You can color the images with markers or use the coordinating stencil set to color in the images and bring them to life! I topped the colorful colored egg with a "Happy Easter"sentiment from the Happy Easter Duo stamp set. The coordinating die does a fussy cut around the letters allowing the background layer to peek through. I hope you find some time to play this weekend. It's my favorite way to relax!
