Countdown to Confetti Day 1 Hello Bootiful!

It's a great day for a visit! We're counting down to Confetti - that means we're showing sneak peeks of the Reverse Confetti September release September 13 through September 15. The new release will officially be available on September 16 when we'll be celebrating with a blog hop and sharing more ideas for makes with the new release.

Today we're sharing peeks of the new HELLO BOOTIFUL stamp set and coordinating dies. My favorite color combo for Halloween this year is yellow, orange and purple. This background was created with Distress ink in 5 shades of ink. (Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet).

I stamped the large "trick or treat" sentiment from the set directly on the inky panel with Versafine Onyx Black. This is a pigment ink and does not bleed into the the Distress ink.

The stars and moon are adhered flat to the page and the fun ghosts are popped up with adhesive foam tape. I think a wobbler would be perfect on this card.. I have to keep things easy to photograph.. but I might just switch it up before I put it in the mail!

I made a second card a little fussier - creating a shaker with the new WINDOW confetti cut die.

The WINDOW die has a frame outline perfect for creating shakers and windows. I adhered the detailed die cut under the shaker. All of the colorful pieces are inlayed.

I think the die sort of looks like a front door - so I set a pumpkin outside and some ghosts drifting about on Halloween night.

No coloring involved on the ghosts - just some pink cheeks to give them some "life" ha ha! The stitched background - was my house "faux paneling" - its the FOLKLORE COVER PANEL.
