Halloween is creeping up fast and I just had to sneak in just one more card to celebrate the spooky season. Halloween is my favorite holiday after all! And my favorite crafty item is craft dies so this card is all smiles from me!
I always start a scene card by arranging different elements on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. This one started with that fun Happy Jack O Lantern. The next think I knew I was adding some Scary Ghosts and foliage.
The clear plastic sheet makes it easy to pick up my arrangement and layer it over different colors to decide on a favorite. I knew I wanted to go with purple.. but color block or distress ink? I decided on an ombre Distress Oxide in Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet.
I hope you have perfect weather for Halloween night so you can sit outside and greet your friends and neighbors as they go a haunting! I wonder if you'll be able to recognize them!
