Waltzingmouse New Release Blog Hop!

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  It's release day and we're celebrating with a blog hop and a chance for you to win some of the latest Waltzingmouse release.  Release day is always "maker's choice" - meaning we can mix and match the new release with any other products we like.  I wanted to take advantage of that by showing you some different looks!  If you're hopping along with us today you should have reached me from  my sweet friend Anya Schrier's blog.  If you'd like to start from the beginning you can get all the details here at Claire's blog.

So lets get started shall we?

I meant it when I wrote that I think this Special Lady looks fabulous in ANY color!  I'm really partial to turquoise and red together and thought I'd see how she looked as a "lady in red".  I think the modern color combo puts a fresh spin on a vintage image.  And really isn't she beautiful in red?
The intricate "Mother" die is gorgeous.   Since it's such a detailed die cut I would recommend you cut it with a metal cutting plate.  For me it cut beautifully every single time.
I mixed a little old with the new for this one.  That double cut die?  Can you believe that's one die?   You get a beautiful negative cut with scallops and piercings as well as a pop out circle and frame.  They look amazing separate or together.   The sentiment from Special lady fits perfectly on the inner circle
.
I used the little frame as a guide to help me position the inner circle.   I just set it inside the negative cut, place the inner circle inside, and then removed the frame.
I'm always thrilled with how well the Waltzingmouse Stamp Sets work together and this set is no exception.  I paired the sentiment from Special Lady with Old Country Roses and they are gorgeous together!

One more for you before you go... I made two tags by stamping the Halftone Basics in different colors.  The stitched tag and new hello die are also from Waltzingmouse.  I kept the cut out "Hello" from the tag above and layered it several times before I added it to a simple black die cut tag.

OK .. more to see now right?  You're next stop is the fabulous Tosha Leyendekker!!!

Here is a complete list of all the designers with projects today.
