TSTR#169 Let's Have Tea!

Oh am I a lucky girl!!  I get to join the Shabby Girls as guest designer at The Shabby Tea Room for the entire month of June!  YAY!! So excited here friends!!!   I have loved the shabby chic creations and gorgeous inspiration photos I've found there from Day 1!!  I guess I am a hopeless romantic at heart and visions of lacy trims, paper roses and all those layers and layers always always make me swoon!  Just look at this beautiful scene that is the inspiration for your creation this week!  You are to make a tea themed creation,  use to use the colors in the photo and add a flower.  That's easy enough!   Oh, I almost forgot.. I have two posts today - you won't want to miss the new Paper Sweeties June Releases - click here to jump to that post.

I was inspired by the chintz patterns on the tea cups.   I tried to include some of the elements of the photo like the wood grain, a pop of hot pink, and of course some paper flowers.

I hope you'll join me and play along at The Shabby Tea Room this month!  I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

Jeanne

Such beautiful patterned paper...love that turquoise color and all those pretty roses. Your teacup could not be positioned any better to show off the pretty flower on the patterned paper. Great idea to add that photo corner...love this one Jeanne!
