OWH places a few restrictions on what you can put on a card for ease of shipping and safety reasons. Sometimes this in itself can be the challenge - no glitter, smaller cards, and no big poofy flowers and bows. If you would like to get involved or participate in this challenge, details are at http://www.owhstarsandstamps.org/2011/09/any-hero-christmas-cards.html.
I made this one with a House Mouse image for Christmas. I cannot tell you how many House Mouse stamps are in my home (at least 50) - yet this is the very first one that I have ever used! As long as I can remember, every time I would take my daughter into Hobby Lobby with me we would come home with a House Mouse stamp. Apparently she has inherited a collecting gene from mom. Well now that I've started a new collection - Copics - I decided to give one of these babies a dip in ink!

Wow, what a sweet card - I LOVE it :) Thanks for playing in our making Christmas cards to send our Heroes challenge at Operation Write Home!
This is such a cute card and for a great cause. Both my nephews have been to Afghanistan, twice each so I know how much a card or note means to our service men and women. How funny about your daughter and her collecting "gene"!
Did you stamp the medallions on?...It looks absolutely fantastic!!! Of course the mouse is very cute!
Wonderful card. I LOVE House Mouse images. Thanks for sharing.
Oh so sweet! That frame shape is so ornate, and the little mouse image very sweet!
