Spellbinders Simply Perfect Collection - Perfect Birthday

I love to papercraft. It's my sweet escape from the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer. It keeps me busy when I'm having trouble sleeping or waiting for Mr. J to get home when he's working late. My favorite theme is always FLOWERS. I'm really missing my garden about now and the new Spellbinders Simply Perfect Collection is a treat.

There are LOTS of flowers in this die set (all you see above and a few more). you can stack the flowers with as many layers as you like and however your imagination inspires you to create them. Flower centers have lots of options too - not just what color you want to make them, but what shapes too.

I layered these flowers on a Picot Petite Rectangle Panel. The pretty script sentiment is new too. It's from the Mix and Match Sentiments set that's part of the Simply Perfect Collection. It's got lots of sentiments that you'll be reaching for again and again. I double cut the Happy Birthday from aqua and gold and stacked them for a little touch of bling.

I just love these pretty blooms - they're like sunshine to me!

Little Fairies Birthday Wishes

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! If you're looking for a new challenge you'll find another winner at Fusion Card Challenge. You'll love this challenge because there are three ways to play.. you can play along with the sketch, be inspired by the photo, or FUSE them together and play with BOTH!

My first look is always at the photo.. I guess that makes me a "visual" thinker. This time we have a little princess wearing a dress of every color of the rainbow.. in fact we're calling this challenge "rainbow". Not loving the photo? That's ok.. just play along with the sketch!

The only thing that can make a princess better (in my opinion) is to be a fairy princess. I mean sparkly wings.. need I say more?

My card features the Waffle Flower Little Fairies colored with Copic Markers and arranged on a Circle Texture die cut background inked with distress in soft blue yellow and green.

The images are adhered to the card - some flat attached to the card base, and others attached with adhesive foam tape. I was personally challenging myself to use ALL of the images in the stamp set.. but try as I might I missed a few.

Chasing the Sun!

I don't know about you but I could sure use a little escape from the cold today so I'm Chasing The Sun with Pretty Little Studio! This is a tropical collection with

I topped the pattern paper background with three Fireflies Shipping Tags alternating their directions. It was fun to mix and match the different patterns on the tags to create an unexpected background.

The tags are topped with Blooms die cut flowers. I love the pretty colors and tropical designs! The flowers are beautifully detailed with interesting petals and flower centers.

I added my own sentiment in gold foil and some bright Frog Lime Sequins to add even more color to the design.
