Hippity Hop - Hoppy Easter & Sale

I'm playing along at Inspiration Station today where this is the Inspration Photo this time!

Aren't these little guys adorable?

I tried to recreate the spring scene. I've got a grassy border in the foreground, and blue skies in the back.

This is the Bunny Holder die from Pretty Pink Posh. The die set includes everything you need to make the bunny. The different objects he can hold and some extra bits are from the Easter Holder Additions die set.

I couldn't resist adding some butterflies - they from the Butterfly Border die set. I love that you can dress up the bunny as you like, the bow tie can easily become a bow in the hair so you can personalize it for the recipient.

Good Stuff

Spring is finally here! I've been seeing signs for awhile.. the return of migratory birds.. robins, red wing blackbirds, and greenery from bulbs peeking from the ground! Flowers should appear any day!
   
I'm sharing a card today made with Pretty Little Studio Good Vibrations Collection! It's a rainbow of color with a splash of black for contrast!

I used a 3x4" journaling card to create a focal point for the fun blooms. I actually purchased two packages so I'd have lots to play with! They're adhered with adhesive foam tape so they're raised from the background.

The "good stuff" sentiment promises love inside this pretty card to ensure the recipient knows better days are ahead!

Just Us Girls #768 Anything Goes Stencil Week!

Lucky me! I'm guest designer this month at Just Us Girls Challenge! They always have beautiful inspiration, fun challenges and a terrific design team! The challenge this week is

Anything Goes Stencil Week! There are so many ways to use stencils.. to create beautiful backgrounds, add texture and to color stamped images!

My card features the Waffle Flower Sketched Poppy stamp that I inked with the coordinating stencil set. I layered the completed image over a panel of watercolor paper that I colored with Lindy's Gang Magical Watercolors.

Rather than stamp the uneven cover panel and worry about the impression, I stamped a piece of clear acrylic with Staz On ink and layered it over the completed design.

This on e has lots of layers.. a rectangle frame, and a smaller rectangle matt topped with an Oversized Postage die cut.

The finishing touch was a pre printed die cut subsentiments "sending prayers" sentiment, and a few candy dots!
