Today I'm playing along at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where they're looking for Food and/or Drink.. and honestly the best food I can think of has to be cake!! My sister and I are both born around Thanksgiving so most of the time our shared birthday cake was a pumpkin pie. My childhood memories of cake are more about wedding cakes.. and the slices my parents would bring home in little bags and boxes for us after a night out. This card has lots of yummy layers just like that cake. It starts off with a color block background in ombre shades of yellow and orange. I topped the stacked panel with an All Framed Up outer layer and a Stitched Note and Frames inner layer. Next I stacked on a gold foil Wreath before building my layer cake. I added a PARTY sentiment with new Letter Cuts inked with Distress Oxide. A bitty sentiment from Word Up is adhered over the letters.
