Altenew September 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I'm so excited to be a guest designer for Altenew's September 2019 Release! They're celebrating with a BIG blog hop with lots of prizes and fabulous designers. No one does florals better than Altenew! This stamp set is called FLOWER GARDEN. 

I stamped all the florals with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copic Markers, and fussy cut them with scissors. I didn't use a blending technique, instead I colored different flower petals in ombre shades to create dimension. 

The FLOWER GARDEN florals are arranged on a background panel of ombre distress ink covered with the new CIRCLE QUILT Cover Panel. The simple "congratulations" is from the older YOU MAKE ME HAPPY bitty stamp set. 

Next up is the new HAPPY POMEGRANATES stamp set with coordinating dies. I think these are so rich and elegant! 

These were also colored with Copic Markers. The large open shapes make them easy to color and shade for dimension.

I'm a huge fan of PURPLE! The background is a panel of distress ink covered with the Leafy Frame Cover die. 

The sentiment in this set has other expressions that pair with the "Happy" like Autumn and Thanksgiving so you can personalize your projects for other occasions.

I did some masking to double stamp the poinsettia at the bottom of the card. Can you believe this is a FLAT one layer card? The poinsettias are colored with Copic Markers, and the blue background is distress ink.  

I NEVER thought I'd be able to add a distress ink background to colored images with this much detail. A matching stencil / mask set makes it easy to cover the poinsettia flower to ink the background. I am loving stencils more than ever now that I have discovered Pixie Spray. No more blurry edges.. just crisp clean designs.

I stamped a sentiment on a NESTING LABEL. I actually thought the label was too big so I cut the label a second time with a smaller size from the set and layered them. The center one is raised with adhesive foam tape, and the double cut frame is adhered to the card base. 

I couldn't resist adding some vellum cut leaves with the GARDEN PICKS 3D die and tucking them under the label. The vellum is elegant and doesn't cover those gorgeous poinsettias. 

This one is for my daughter. I'm hoping it will remind her to pick up the phone and call her mom! I want to hear her voice.. not read a text! :P.

Ring! Ring! This is the IT'S FOR YOU stamp set! This is a 4 x 6" stamp set with three phone images to layer stamp. I used Altenew Ink colors - Warm & Cozy, Glacier Caves, and Cherry Blossom. They're perfect for multiple stamped images.

I inked a panel with Altenew colors to match the phones, and topped it with the new CIRCLE QUILT COVER die. I left the die cut pieces in place down the center of the panel to strategically cover where the ink colors meet. 

The sentiments are stamped on banners and neatly tucked under the phones.
