Sugar Pea Designs April Release Day 1
Hey Honey!
Oh happy day! It's Sweet Peek Week at Sugar Pea Designs! Beginning today we've got a whole week of fun projects to share with you! Today we've got some honey for you! Specifically the new Hey Honey! stamp set with coordinating dies, Honeycomb Cover Plate, Honeycomb Stencil and Stacked Honeycomb die set.
The Honeycomb Cover Plate was cut from light yellow card stock, and layered over a dark yellow cardstock panel. I left several of the die cut pieces in place. Then I added some ochre - dark honey colored pieces in some of the openings.
All the images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copic markers. The bee's are especially fun to stamp. They are a two part stamp.. a solid oval for their bodies, and a detailed stamp that includes their wings and stripes. Of course there are some matching Sugar Cut Dies to make creating a breeze!
