Pretty Little Studio - Happy Today

I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with the Ain't Life Grand Collection! I love the fun mix of elements in this collection! There's flowers, cameras, arrows, clouds in unexpected shades of navy, baby blue, lime and pink! The colors are bright bold and beautiful and this collection is quickly turning into my Summer "go to" for documenting and cardmaking.

I started this card with the little Easy Breezy Shipping Tag you see in the center of the design - it has the word "happy" printed on it in a fun hand written font! I zoomed in on the colorful stripes on the card (lime baby blue and navy).

I decided to make a collage style card embellished with lots of fun stuff from the collection! Like what? How about those die cut Bloomin' Blooms (flowers), Document This (camera) and Love Life Words (life is good sentiment). I love that the images are die cut and ready to work with.. but the best part? The colors match perfectly! And they are easy to match through the other collections you'll find in the Pretty Little Studio Shop. So when you see light blue in the Ain't Life Grand Collection you know it's a match for the light blue in the other collections.

Everyone knows we eat with our eyes.. and some candy never hurts! For a little shine I added a Flair from the Life Noted package, and some Snow Fall sequins.

In addition to repeating colors I repeated the blue graph pattern through out the design - you'll see it on the camera, background paper and the little "noted" flag adhered at the top of the card. The die cut flowers are attached with adhesive foam tape to add dimension to the design.

This one is a good reminder to enjoy TODAY.. make every minute count!
