The Card Concept - Boldly Graphic - Formal Congrats

I hope you're having a great day ! It's been in the 90's the past few days and I just can't get motivated to do too much outside the house.  I'm staying indoors and keeping cool.  Miss Moriko is giving me her version of  THE LOOK.  She'd just disgusted with me.  If it cools off later I'll see if we can brave the mosquitoes for a walk around the neighborhood!

I'm so excited to see all the seeds we planted only a week ago peeking out from the soil in the garden... .corn, sunflowers, beans, beets and pumpkin.  Some others haven't showed their faces yet... peas, zuchinni, carrots... so maybe I'll have to do those over again soon.  Fingers crossed that we see them soon!!!

Today I'm playing along with The Card Concept Challenge!  Look at this elegant inspiration photo they have for us!  Lots to choose from here isn't there?  I see lots of pattern perfect for a die cut, a pop of fuchsia, and even some sparkly items (the mirror, chandelier and vase).

Here's what I came up with.  started with a background panel with a big pop of fuschia!  I reversed the colors on the flowers making them black for a very formal elegant look.  These stamped flowers are from Reverse Confetti Blooms 'n Buds stamp set.

I made this a congrats card with pops of gold throughout.  The Reverse Confetti Bitty Banner Confetti cuts have two dies, one a little larger for the perfect background matt.
I added lots of layers in the center of the card for the focal point with white, fuchsia, and gold circles before adding the florals with adhesive foam tape.

A little gold twine "anchors" the florals so they don't appear to be floating.

Want to see more designs made with this inspiration photo, and maybe join along?  You can get all the details here at The Card Concept
