Fusion Card Challenge - You Anchor Me!

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  I sure hope you're having a great day!  I'm off to the dentist and then my parents are stopping by!  My dad has a special project for me!  He doesn't have a computer so he visits and has me do all the web surfing for him!  I think it's going to be a long day! LOL!

Looking for a challenge to play this week? How about joining us at Fusion Card Challenge? Here's the inspiration photo!   So what do you see in the photo that you love?   Maybe the color sheme?   How about all those fun letters on the wall?  Loving that big striped "Z"?  I zeroed in on those sailboats and the colorful globe.

Not loving the photo?  That's ok!  It's Fusion so remember you can work with the sketch OR the photo and if you're feeling clever you can FUSE them together!
I stuck with the sketch and went straight for nautical.  I added colorful atlas paper as a base and some playful plaid stripes down the center.  My trick for separating patterns is to add a little solid cardstock in between.  A simple zig zag border from Reverse Confetti Edge Essentials adds lots of definition.
I used the Reverse Confetti "Seaside" stamp set.  The Wreath Confetti Cut behind the anchor looks like a rope!

The Sentiment is adhered inside a stitched frame from All Framed Up.
The finishing touch is a sprinkle of wood veneer stars and some Midnight Blue Twinery Twine! Want to see what the rest of the team made for this one? Head on over to Fusion Card Challenge where you can see more projects and get all the details!
