SPDSS40 - You're A Hoot!

Happy Wednesday!  You know what that means right?  It's time for a new Sugar Sketch from Sugar Pea Designs!!    I hope you're playing along because there is one AWESOME prize for one lucky winner!!  A $75 Gift Certificate for Sugar Pea Designs so you can get all those new stamps you've been wanting!    We have a new sketch every Wednesday.  You can play along with one of the sketches or all the sketches.  The prize is drawn monthly so the more sketches you play along with the more times you are entered to win.   I love playing a sketch challenge - it takes all the guess work out of "what should I make today"?!!  You just follow the sketch using your favorite stamps! I like to make cards that are seasonal - that way I have everybody covered for all the different holidays. 

I'm using the cute little owl from  Classroom Cupids.  This set has lots of solid stamp images perfect for all your Valentine projects, and as the name implies, these would be great for treats for school.   I cut the owl with the Zig Zag Stitched Circles die set.  I love the detail the stitches add to the circle die cut! 
The Stitched Flags die set are is perfect for cutting sentiments - since the three flags are all open "window" cut designs.  They're also great for accents like the flags on my design.  The bitty heart on the middle flag is one of the cut outs from the Heart Border die. 

The striped border along the top of the sentiment is the Air Mail Border.  The set contains two different borders - a positive and negative striped line.
