12 Kits of Occasion - Watercolour Wonder

It's the last day of the month!  Yep.. things are a little tricky this year - 29 days in February since it's a Leap Year!  So confusing!!! LOL!!! But I'm so happy because it's time for my 12 Kits of Occasions reveal.  So what is the 12 Kits?  It's a group of 12 friends who love to design cards.  Every month we take turns providing a kit to the rest of the group.  We all get the same kit - and on the last day of the month we reveal what we made with the kit.  It's fun to see how some of our ideas are the same and others?  Well not so much!  LOL!  Sometimes I scratch my head and think ... "how'd they come up with that?!!"
The kit this month...   Amazing!!   Take a look.....
This kit was put together by one of our newest members Nancy Penir from Artful Notions Blog!  Nancy spared no expense with this kit.  She chose the theme "Watercolour Wonder" and provided everything needed to start splashing..  including watercolors, watercolor pencils, brushes, masking fluid and so much more.  The kit included images stamped on watercolor paper, die cuts, ribbon, gems, and even pattern paper and ribbon if you didn't feel like painting!

My tricky ingredients to look out for this time?  Let's see... the only things left from my kit?  The embellishments if you can believe that!  Look for wood and cork dots!

So where to start?  Gosh I made so many things.. YEP!  A new record for me... count 'em...  NINE!! YES!!! 9 cards!   So yes.. if you're wondering... I had a blast!
Had to show you a close up with the glittery frosting!
This little kraft tag was included in the wrapping of our wonderful kit!  I couldn't toss it - so a beautiful wedding tag to share!   Don't you love the glittery ribbon?

Ready to see more?  Here's a list of the 12 Kits of Occasions Design Team and we have a special guestie this month too Marcia Hill!

You can also visit our blog - The 12 Kits of Occasions - where you'll see a sample from each of the designer and find links to their blogs.  There is also a complete ingredient kit if you see something you must have!  LOL!

Have a great day and thanks for the visit!

Excuse me, I have to climb back up on the stool... OK, just fell off for a moment! WOW-ie! Just look at all these watercolor beauties! Each one masterful (really? expected no less!) LOVE how you put the teacups on that pattern paper, with the black doily and scallop whimsy. Then the little touch of ribbon, fabulous! Gorgeous, artistic, elegant all! We had the same thought with the tag, love your frilly little additions!

Where the heck do I start! Jeanne! Each one of these gorgeous , colorful , amazing cards should be on a cover of a craft book or craft magazine! You are one talented and gifted card maker! Let me tell you each one has my jaw on the floor! Love the gem card and the way you even watercolored the background on the orange card, wow! That first one with the pink blooms is also gorgeous , I messed mine up and would love a do over, lol. Hugs to a blessed crafter!

OH my goodness! I'm with Nancy and Marybeth picking myself up off the floor Jeanne! Every one of your cards (and tag) are just amazing! How do you pick a favorite when every one is a favorite??!! I am so jealous of how you used the butterfly background paper with the tea cups...I loved that paper but just could not figure out how to use it...I do now!! :0) Your water coloring is just phenomenal too...totally in love with your first card with the flowers and background and how bright and vibrant it is! Sooooo in love with your "orange" card too! You have left me with so much inspiration Jeanne! I have been so honored to play along side all of you talented and kind ladies...thank you, thank you!! :0)

I had a hard time just getting past the gorgeous pink magnolias against the dreamy background. But they are all so gorgeous! When I feel brave I'm going to try the orange blossom design.
