SSCB#31 - Flowers

On the first Wednesday of every month we start a new challenge at Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.  This month the theme is flowers.  Super easy right?  Serendipity has so many beautiful floral stamps to choose from.  To keep a uniform look to our cards the design team all made cards featuring the floral alphabet.  Oh yes.. and the sale this week?  Well it's 20% off all stamps in the Alphabet category now through May 14.    These monograms are beautiful detailed stamps (did you see the little snails in there?)  and you don't have to purchase the whole set - you can purchase letters individually.

There's three J's on the design team including me so  I chose the letter "H" to work with.  I love the hibiscus because it makes me think of summer.   I usually get a few from my husband for Mother's Day.  I put them in big colbalt colored pots on my back porch.   Since I knew the rest of the DT was working with the same images I tried to think of a way to make mine look a little different.  I decided to color mine up with Copic markers and frame it with a bright colored matt.

Want to see more ideas to put these beautiful monograms to work?  Check out the designs from the rest of the team.

I hope you find some time to play along this month. You can use any Serendipity Stamps image or die. To incorporate the floral theme you can add flowered paper, or maybe some die cut or paper flowers? You might just win $20 off your next order! Have a beautiful day and take time to smell the flowers!!

Hello Jeanne. Wow - this floral alphabet is truly beautiful and together with the black around it, it definetely pops off the card. Just WOW! Plus: this perfect bow you tied with the butterfly and flower - awesome combination. Thank you so much for your nice comment on my blog! Hugs, Birgit

This reminds me of the islands, the hibiscus all the wonderful tropical colors! Fun wooden butterfly and the pop of the blue flower on one of your magnificent bows!
Love it, Jeanne!

So pretty, Jeanne! I adore hibiscus and usually have a couple of them growing on my deck. Your colors are so vibrant and I love the bow in the corner.
