PSSC#7 - Tea Party

On the first of every month Paper Sweeties Stamps hosts a sketch challenge!  This is a great way to use your Paper Sweeties stamps, get inspiration from other crafters, and if you're lucky - maybe snag a few new sets to add to your collection!  Here's the sketch for this month.  Remember that the shapes are just for inspiration - the heart shape can be anything you like - for example on my card - it's a circle.  And instead of the three dots in a row - I used three paper flowers.   The tea sets are still my favorite releases but I think that will be changing this month - can't wait to show you the previews coming on the 13th!
I dressed Sophie in her "Sunday go to meetin'" clothes - complete with pearl jewelry and a flower on her hat!  I stamped her outfit in purple ink and colored it up in Copics.  The fancy doily die cut, velvet ribbon, and gem bow topper make this even more extravagant.   I hope you like it and that you find some time to play this month at the Paper Sweeties Challenge!

The shading on that cute dress is beautiful Jeanne. Beautiful. Love that intricate lacy die cut too. I also love the background paper...adds such a vintage feel to your tea party card. Wait, just noticed those pearls for her necklace, earrings and on her shoes! Extra good.
