This time I'm playing with the Main Kit that includes 12" papers from Simple Stories "Heartstrings", and Echo Park "Valentine's Day" Collections. You'll also find die cuts, a stamp set, stickers, and lots more! Everything is perfectly coordinated to work together and shipped directly to your door!The kit includes everything you need to make these cards. The only items I added were the card bases, solid cardstock papers, adhesives, and enamel dots from my stash. You can incorporate you own favorite gems or sequins to add more sparkle to the designs. This month's theme is Love and Valentine's Day, but I think these cards would be just about perfect any time of year. I mean who doesn't want to hear that they're loved? The first thing I do when I get a kit is to sort out the elements. I add baby powder to the backs of the stickers to turn them into die cuts then I match the images I think will work well together.
I arrange the images on clear plastic sheets the size of my card front. This gives me a preview of what the finished card will look like before I commit and adhere everything in place. I can also slide pattern paper under the arrangement to see if my choices work well together.
I had lots of fun mixing and matching papers and images to create these fun colorful cards. I used a few cut apart 3x4" to create focal points and break up the patterns. I made EIGHT cards with this kit and I even had lots of leftovers that I can use to create gift tags and embellish my planner
