CAS Slimline Shaker

Today I'm mixing two of my favorite things.. slimline and shakers! I know I don't make them as often as I would like and the reason why is because they are so hard to photograph!  Today I'm playing along at Shopping Our Stash where they're saying "Make mine a tall one!" looking for slimline cards!
If you are new to shakers you really need to check out Waffle Flower's different shaker covers. It just doesn't get any easier. This is the 3x8" Shaker cover. You can cut your own insert that size, or use a coordinating die set (in this case it's the Slim Lacy Layers). Just add some sprinkles inside the empty clear shaker cover, insert your inked panel and then fold over the edges and adhere them in place. Bam! You have a shaker!

My inky panel is just a piece of white card stock inked with Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. The sequins are just iridescent clear.
I added some die cut white Stems to the cover. I used glue dots, but if I were to make this again, I would add double sided adhesive to the back of the white cardstock and then die cut the stems. Then just peel the adhesive cover and stick them in place.

My sentiment is a Gold Foil from the Subsentiments set. It foils a whole strip of sentiments, and then the coordinating die cuts them ALL in ONE PASS.
Thanks so much for sending me smiles and have a great day!

This is such an interesting card. I love that you used an inked background and then white flowers and stems. Of course, everyone loves a shaker card. Thank you.
