I hope you're doing ok. I know I'm still so shaken up by the shooting in Las Vegas. I want to hang on to my kids a little tighter... feeling like we all need a big hug today!
My therapy is crafting.. it can't fix the world, but it help mends me. I can send cards to family and friends to let them know I love them and work through my own troubles while I'm creating.
Today I'm playing at Freshly Made Sketches. Here's the sketch for this time. It's got lots of possibilities.
Today I'm playing at Freshly Made Sketches. Here's the sketch for this time. It's got lots of possibilities.
I took a few liberties with the sketch. Instead of one big background I added a few layers. Empty spaces still scare me.
All the products I used are from Pretty Pink Posh. The Scallop Circle is the focal point for my design. I added a sentiment from Birdie Friends on a Stitched Label. I love the repeated pattern of stitches that tie the die cuts together.
The florals are from the Bold Blooms stamp set. I added little pearls to the flower centers. A bright yellow strip of washi adds a pop of color to the grey / monochrome background.
