Hello Sweet Friend

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing a sweet banner card made with the Pink & Main new Floral Banners. This is one of my favorite sets from the new release and I know I'll be reaching for it to make lots of beautiful cards!

The die set includes the big ribbon banner with tails and lots of bitty flowers and different shaped foliage. The coordinating stamp set includes several big sentiments that fit inside the banner perfectly.

All of my cards start the same way. I arrange images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. This allows me to arrange all the pieces until I'm happy with their placement before committing and adhering them. I used up lots of scraps cutting all the dies so I would have several choices for my card. I always save the extras in a bitty cello bag so next time I'm ready to play!

I added a Sweet Bird to the sentiment and some pretty self adhesive gems from Special Day to finish the design. The background is a white embossed panel using the Garden Gate Embossing Folder.

I hope you are smiling and feel inspired to make something beautiful today!

Waffle Flower Release Day Instagram Giveaway Alert!

It's release day at Waffle Flower! I hope you've enjoyed seeing the peeks of the new release called Bookmarks.

Today I'm sharing two bookmarks made with the Round Bookmark Die that was inked with the Round Floral Bookmark.

The Round Floral Bookmark stamp set inks the outline that you can see in black, and then you color them with the coordinating stencil set.

The coordinating stencil set includes the patterns for BOTH of these florals.

I added sentiments to the designs, and added a solid cut bookmark to each to add more color.

Waffle Flower August Release Day 3

It's the third and last day of Waffle Flower August Release sneak peeks! All the new products will be available in the store TOMORROW and we will celebrate with some giveaways on Instagram!

Today we're sharing the new Stitchable Bookmark and Hoops. Sometimes I have time to stitch and find it relaxing, but in my heart I'm really a papercrafter so I thought I'd share a way to still enjoy these dies using other papercrafting supplies.

I cut the large Stitchable Hoop from white cardstock and then inked it with the Winter Floral Stencil. To create the "hoop" I cut the die again from aqua cardstock with a smaller oval die inside the hoop die to create a frame. I cut the tension screw on the left with silver cardstock and adhered it over the aqua frame.

I stacked the completed hoop over a larger nested oval and scallop oval from the Lacy Ovals die set. It gives a "doily" look to the design.

The finishing touches include a die cut needle threaded with gold and a sprinkle of buttons instead of my usual enamel dots or sequins.

I hope you'll stop by tomorrow when the products hit the store. I'll have all the giveaway details for you!
