Kick up your heels! It’s time to party with the Simple Stories new Celebrate collection! We’ve got the cake, presents, confetti and party horns too! So grab a cuppa your favorite and scroll through this collection of eight happy cards!

This collection isn’t just about the birthdays – it covers all the occasions that deserve a big HOORAY! You’ll find sentiments for birthday, anniversary, wedding and other milestone events.

You’ll love the bright colorful paper with confetti, stripes, streamers, florals and dots. Papers, images and all the embellishments are color coordinated to work together.

I like to add a solid cardstock matt between the white card base and the pattern paper background. You’ll find Color Vibe cardstock comes in such a great assortment of colors that you’re sure to find one that matches the prints perfectly.

I think these cards will come in handy for lots of different occasions beyond birthdays – perhaps a promotion, engagement announcement or whenever good news is worth celebrating. I mean…. cake is ALWAYS welcome, isn’t it?

I love the variety of the cake designs in the collection – each one sweeter than the last. They’re fun and whimsical and sure to make you smile.

Sometimes I’m not sure what embellishment to put where. To make the stickers more forgiving and easier to move around I like to put baby powder on their sticky side. When I’m ready to adhere them I use a liquid adhesive to secure them in place.

Like the topping on a cake, I love layering on all the embellishments. Each of my cards includes washi, a decorative brad, enamel dots and chipboard. Oh how sweet it is!
