Toadally Cool Birthday

I hope you're having a great day. I'm always hoping to make you smile and I think this card is no exception. Check out all of these Toadally cool critters singing on their little lily pads!

Whenever I get a stamp set I always stamp ALOT of images - usually 10 of each.. then I color them all up and die cut them. I keep a little clear envelope of all the colored die cut pieces for the perfect challenge. It helps to do things in batches.. I can color outside, die cut in front of the TV etc.

I arranged all of the pieces to create a scene on piece of plastic the size of my card front. When I'm happy I can start the background. I place different colors under the plastic sheet to help me decide what colors I like best before I adhere everything in place.

The sentiment is stamped on the inky panel and some images are glued there too. Other images are attached with foam dots to add dimension.

I'm playing along today at USE YOUR STUFF challenge. For this card I used some of my die cut images, and ink that I had on hand - gotta love distress ink! LOL!!  This time they're looking for beach or water designs.
