Reverse Confetti August Release Blog Hop

The wait is over! The August Reverse Confetti mini release is now available in the store. To celebrate we're having a blog hop with more ideas to inspire you! We started showing product peeks on August 5th. I shared two cards made with the two new panel dies in their intended way. This time I'm showing ideas for using the accent "extra" pieces in the set.

The Hello Daisy Cover Panel comes with a layered "Hello" word die that I cut three times for this card.

I adhered the accent embellishment flowers in shades of pink with gold gem centers. I adhered the trio of word dies on to a Split Circles Cove Panel with foam tape to add some dimension.

I added some gold glitter split circles to repeat the gold in the gems in the flower centers. If you look close you'll also notice that there is a trio of pink shades behind the Split Circle Panel. The gold and the shades of pink pull this card together.

My second card is made with the flowers from the new Floral Chain set. The flowers are really pretty and look great stacked. The die set even includes the flower centers. There are no leaf die cuts in the set.

To add a little greenery I die cut the flowers from green card stock and then cut the flowers in four tucking the individual petals under the flowers.

A Scripty Sentiment is added to the card inside a Scallop Circle Tag and layered over a Plaid Lines background cut from RC Aqua and Iced Aqua card stock.

The blue flowers with their aqua centers and the blue in the frame and the background coordinate all the colors in this pretty card.
