Freshly Made Sketches - Awesome Flowers

We hosted DH's monthly card party yesterday! What a work out ! It was worth it to see everyone enjoy themselves. When all the food was set out I retreated to my crafty space to unwind and had time to play the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
I love playing sketches! Here's what I made!
Big wow here isn't there? I mean the colors are so striking if I do say so myself. Sometimes I'm surprised with how well things turn out. I usually think the photos don't do the project justice, but in this case the photos turned out beautifully
I started by coloring the Pretty Pink Posh flowers with Copic Markers. Yellow has been my
"go to" color lately, but I thought a pop of red would be nice.
I arranged the flowers on a piece of clear plastic to help me decide what color background to create. It's easy to pick up the clear panel and switch out different colored backgrounds to find which I like best.
I was thinking of some pattern paper, but got to inking instead. I used Ranger Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn. The leaves are adhered flat to the card base, and the flowers pop up with adhesive foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by! I had lots of fun making this - it reminds me how stunning an inky background can be.
