A Blog Named Hero - Color Layering Poppy

A new challenge begins on the 15th of every month and this month we're asking you to "Use Your Favorite Hero Arts Product".

Since the team is new this is a great way for us to get to know each other! My favorite Hero Arts products are the Color Layering stamps.

I love the multiple stamped images and how the layers of color bring the images to life.

This stamp set is called Color Layering Poppy. I know Poppies are traditionally Red but I thought these Lemon Yellow blooms would be like sunshine.

I inked up the background with distress ink and then planned where the blooms would be positioned on the panel. Next I inked the stems on the panel before adhering the flowers with adhesive foam tape.
