12 Kits of Occasions - This is Halloween!

Ok so here's your warning!   Lots of photos in this post.. but maybe you already expect that when you come to visit me! LOL!  I love when I can see all the details on a project when I'm getting lost on the web, so I'm sure to include lots of close ups of my own projects.

It's the last day of the month.... that means it's time for the 12 Kits of Occasions reveal.  The 12 Kits is a group of 12 friends who love to paper craft.  Each  month one of us takes a turn at making up a kit to share with the rest of the group.  I am so excited because September is my month to be hostess!  The theme this month is Halloween.  I was thinking that this might give some of you ideas on cards to make for yourself.

So this kit.. umm.. it became somewhat of a monster!! Here's a pic of some of the goodies that were inside (you can see a complete list of ingredients on the 12 Kits Of Occasions blog).  I look at this as my chance to give back to the group for all the wonderful kits I got for the other 11 months of the year.. I just kept adding and adding to the kit.  Of course a few new sets came out just as I thought I had everything done.. so I added even more.  I told everyone to just use what they like and toss the rest.  I hope they forgive me for getting carried away.  I'm just a "people pleaser".  I want everyone to have something that they WANT to work with.

That said I know that you're going to see LOTS and LOTS of cards today if you hop to everyone on the list!

I know I normally tell you what was a trick to work with.. but I've decided that's not for me to say this time.  Of course I think everything was a treat - it's my kit afterall!

Here's what I made

Well I know that was a lot right?  I'm sure hoping you want to see even more.  Here's a list of the rest of the 12 Kits of Occasions Design Team.

I feel so blessed to be a part of this team that I had to make some extra kits so I could invite a few friends to play.  I hope you'll visit them as well...

Oooooh, just gushing over all you projects. Jeanne, honestly, so much fun, and so much left over. Love the stick figures colored so perfectly with the boo cutout ( expected no less!), I still have that one, so it's 'casing Jeanne time'. Fabulous haunted house with the ghosties too! Love them all, and your kit was amazing!!!

First of all THANK YOU for such an awesome kit Jeanne! I had so much fun! I love everything you created with your kit! I Love the stick pin card of yours as that was the very first thing I grabbed and made a huge smudge at the end of working on my card :(
The little Serendipity Stamps witch is just darling and I love your adorable card made with Kay’s set!
Thank you!

Wow, Jeanne, your card are so great! That castle diecut was BEGGING for watercolor behind it! You always manage the best panels on your cards. (VERY reverse confetti, I must say) I need to practice those! Gorgeous work. I can't thank you enough for asking me to play along! I had a blast!

Always a treat to visit your blog, Jeanne, but never so much as when I am seeing what you did with your incredible kit. Your cards are over the top wonderful. Thank you so much for this kit. I had such fun creating with it, and it was so very easy to work with.

Jeanne, I hate to start my comment with an apology, but I am SO SORRY that my post was so late today! Your kit was 'over the top' fabulous ... in all honesty: you are MUCH too generous to us! I may have enough left to make cards for next year, too! You've done wonders, not surprised - LOve your coloring, and layering skills, Jeanne ... thank you, so very much for this fabulous kit! [you are one tough act to follow!!!]

Every nifty place I go Jeanne, there you are! When do you find time to sleep?! You are a creative machine! Can you tell I'm impressed?

OK, I'm at your blog from Marybeth's, and when I saw the fantastic kit she got, I decided to find out more about the kit designer...you! Your generosity of spirit just blows me away. It is evident in all the many ways you connect with folks. The kit ingredients are so wonderful, that I'm going to have to visit each and every blog this month. I really love your eclectic assortment of Halloween items.

Your cards are just fabulous. I continue to learn so much about great card making from you. I am stinking curious as to how you did the amazing "BOO" on the swizzle stick card. Did you use a die in some way? If you can't answer this (along with running the free world these days), I will look for a die to be used that way over at Memory Box.

I'm still shaking my head at how involved you are, and jealous as all get out, at how organized you need to be to do it all. All that talent and you're a big SWEETHEART to boot!

WOW Jeanne, where to begin!! So much inspiration for the product I haven't used yet. I love the way you colored the little witch and the color wash background for the haunted house. Each one a gem my friend. THANK YOU, THANKS YOU, THANK YOU for such an amazing kit!!

It takes a creative mind to come up with all the bits and pieces of a fantastic kit like this, Jeanne, but an even greater mind to come up with so many wonderful cards using those bits and pieces.

Oh, Jeanne, it is such fun to see what you did with your own kit! I am always in awe of your gorgeous designs and your layering is always amazing. You definitely did not disappoint--love every one! The fantastic watercoloring background behind the haunted house is so cool. And your sweet card with Kay's kit is adorable! I was glad to see your version of the little witch. I really love her and couldn't wait to color her. And I love the clever way you used the stick pens too! Thank you so much for such an awesome kit. You really do spoil us!!!

Oh my!! Your cards are AMAZING!!! I love your first card with the layering of the blue underneath the tag and the yummy ways you layered the papers/images. The skull card is my favorite though. You colored them in so nicely and then did that fabulous spotlight technique on this!!

Having received some of your wonderful kits I don't doubt anyone when they say it was bursting at the seams. :)
And with this sampling of gorgeous creations...
you killed this kit, Sweet Friend!
Love each and every one! :)

Okay, I officially love them all. LOVE them! I especially love how you watercolored around the skulls, the fabulous turquoise you added to your mummy card, and the amazing background behind your haunted house. You are amazing! I know I tell you that all the time, but I believe it! Thank you for the fabulous kit. I'm so thrilled to have so many goodies to keep making cards with. :)
