You Can and YOU WILL!

Ever have one of those days?  I mean.. EVERYTHING just goes wrong.   That was me yesterday.  I got up early and woke up with sharp pain in my abdomen.  I have self diagnosed and either have a pulled muscle or a hernia!   Ouch!!!  Then I went to the dentist to have my crown delivered.  I've been wearing a temporary and chewing on one side of my mouth now for 3 weeks.  I get there... they can't find it!  So they send me home and ask me to come back to take another impression.  I stop at the grocery store on the way home, and one of my items rung up the wrong price.. so .. I get in line at customer service.   Got home and found out a tutorial I've been working on for two weeks won't be needed.

I decide to put it behind me and move forward... on to better things.... I sit down at my desk and I turn my chair too quickly and my glass of iced tea hits the floor.   I didn't even get a sip of it!!    Three towels and half a roll of paper towels later it's cleaned up.  I actually managed to stand up by myself - ouch that muscle is killing me.. and it just all hits me at once.  I don't usually get depressed, but I have to tell you I just sat down and cried.  Of course my son walked in on me bawling like a baby.. how embarrassing.  Mom always tries to put on the strong face.  He gave me a big hug and that really did help ALOT.
So when I saw the cue card this week at CASology I knew I wanted to play.  They have a new look and this week they are celebrating YOU!  This one is for everybody (including me) who occasionally get handed more than they deserve.
This pretty wreath is new from Waltzingmouse Stamps Scandi Doodle Christmas set. I think it's so pretty that I'll be using it all year.  The sentiment is from the Your Sparkle mini stamp set.  I colored this one with Copic Markers.

I love this positive sentiment.  Its a good reminder to me that it's all temporary and to keep moving forward!

Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse Scandi Doodle Christmas, Your Sparkle

OH dear sweet friend, you have had a BAD one of those days!!! everything goes wrong, shame about your tutorial not being needed, after all your hard work..
Sorry I did chuckle with your iced tea, that`s all you needed, least you shed some tears! always helps and a hug from your Son x.
Darn`t mention my stressful couple of weeks. LOL.
Well you have made a wonderful colourful creation, I love this sentiment..

Is it okay to laugh now?? LOL...I'm sorry, but days like that are hysterical (many days later!) I'm so glad you only get them every so often. I had the same thing happen with my crown too. Suppose we get them from the same place? Had to go back 3 times until they got it right and in the meantime, the temp fell off.
However, your card is GORGEOUS and so on spot for inspiration! I absolutely love this Jeanne. Makes me smile to think of you creating this after getting that super supportive hug from your son. You have good kids. :)
Here's another one from me,
Lisa x

The wonders of a child's smile, laugh or/hug. They just have to be there to make us feel better. Thanks for sharing. Having bad day myself. I hope you have that pain checked out? Stay safe.

SQUEEEEEZZZEEE! That's one gi-normous hug coming your way! Days like this - filled with a bunch of annoyances and nuisances, once after another - aren't fun (reminds me of the "My mother told me there'd be days like this" cliche), so sitting and sobbing: perfect response! I've been feeling the blues a bit lately too; perhaps the change of the season, or feeling 'overwhelmed' for no reason in particular, or 'just because' (totally allowed bu still...move along, you 'just because' moods!). Hopefully, the dentist will come through, the crown will be an 'easy peasy' fix, the tutorial will be published (I want to see it!) and the next shopping trip will land you an amazing deal! Your son's hug: how sweet! Glad he helped - and understood! Your card is beautiful and yes: a positive reminder that things will get better! YOU are amazing; know that!!

Jeanne, believe it or not your very honest post about your bad day made me feel better -- I swear I had a day almost as bad yesterday and I began to wonder what I did to deserve all this?! (Car battery died in kid's school parking lot, son got very sick just after the doctor's office closed, etc.). Sometimes I think it is best to just go to bed on days like that and start over fresh in the morning! All I can say is, your card sums it all up and is absolutely beautiful! You post AND your card made me feel so good, so THANK you for sharing both with us! So glad you joined us at CASology!

Jeanne, I am so sorry to hear that you have had well and truly more than your share this week!! It never rains, but pours, doesn't it? I truly hope that you are feeling a little better now...as for your card, it is absolutely beautiful, and I can see why you would want to use that stamp all year! SO very pretty and subtly coloured too. Thanks for taking the time out to join us at CASology this week in spite of everything! Take care and we look forward to seeing you again soon, in better spirits! Hugs!

Oh, Jeanne, what a nightmare of a day! I'm so sorry! I hope the days since have been much much better and that enough time has passed now that you can roll your eyes about it and have a giggle. (How's that muscle doing by the way?)
Your card is gorgeous! That wreath is so sweet and your coloring is beautiful as always. Thanks for playing long with CASology this week!
