Stampin Royalty #141 - Bon Anniversaire

I hope you are having a good day. I've been feeling really creative lately and have been really enjoying playing some different challenges. I have two posts today so if you are looking for the Paper Sweeties new releases please scroll down. They are adorable, and you won't want to miss them! Today I'm playing along with the Stampin Royalty Sketch Challenge #41. I saw this inspiration photo and just had to play. I was immediately struck by the banners with the hearts and all the pretty details in the photo. I decided to let little doves carry my banners - I left the twine dangling from their mouths. The frame die represents the headboard, and the graph paper that I anchored everything on has vertical lines like the headboard.. Another bonus is that I got to ink up a new set of stamps that I hadn't used before. This is such a great picture with lots of inspiration - the newsprint, polka dots, the quilt, and so many pretty colors, cream, pink, ivory, turquoise. I hope you find some time to play with this one!
Here's a closeup of the banners. The birds are a Martha Stewart paper punch. I inked up the edges to bring out the turquoise a bit more - like the girl's sweater in the photo.

I hope you like it - I think it looked so romantic I had to make it into an anniversary card.

What a beautiful card. I love your banner with the sweet hearts, and those doves---ooh. Did you know that you can use this gorgeous card as a birthday card, too? Bon Anniversaire is 'happy birthday' in French. How's that for a two-fer?
