Waffle Flower February Release Sneak Peeks Day 3

Thanks for stopping by! It's the last day of a 3-day preview of the latest Waffle Flower release. This month is called Butterfly Blossom! You guessed it! We're going to have lots colorful blooms and winged friends! Today's focus is on Whimsical Wings! The release officially hits the store tomorrow when we will be celebrating with prizes on Instagram!

My card today features the new Crocus Flutter Die and coordinating stencil set. I inked up the panel in shades of Distress Ink. I used sticky notes to block off areas to add different colors.

I cut the finished panel with the large stitched die from A2 Lacy Layers. The Crocus Flutter Die does not cut out the A2 panel size, it just cuts the images .

I topped the pretty panel with an Overlapping Hugs Die N Stencil. I love that you can ink the colors in any shade you like so that it coordinates with your design!

The Overlapping Hugs Additions stamp set lets you add a topper to the big sentiment.

Waffle Flower February Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

Thanks for stopping by! It's day 2 of a 3-day preview of the latest Waffle Flower release. This month is called Butterfly Blossom! You guessed it! We're going to have lots colorful blooms and winged friends! Today's focus is on Whimsical Wings!

My card features the new Mod Blossom die that I inked with Distress Ink in shades of blue and green. I die cut it and layered it over a piece of yellow glitter paper that I wish you could see in person.

The background is topped with an Inside/Outside Scalloped Circle used to create a focal point.

The new Butterfly Focal is a great big butterfly die that you can ink in any color of your imagination using the coordinating stencil set. I tried to create a Monarch.

The sentiment is from the new Paper Hug stamp set with coordinating dies.

Waffle Flower February Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hi Friends! It's a great day for a visit because today is the start of a 3-day preview of the latest Waffle Flower release. This month is called Butterfly Blossom! You guessed it! We're going to have lots colorful blooms and winged friends!

If you love the Postage Collage series then you'll NEED this latest addition called Postage Collage Butterfly! I masked off each stamp using sticky notes to allow me to color each butterfly a different shade.

New sentiments compliment the butterflies beautifully! Overlapping Hugs Additions loopy script font mimics the swoopy flight of a butterfly and pairs beautifully with the stenciled Overlapping Paper Hugs die n stencil sentiment.

To repeat all that color on the butterfly wings I created a background of rainbow skinny strips. Colorful Candy Dots embellish the butterfly wings too!

Lots of Love

Happy Friday! You made it through the week! I hope the weekend holds something fun for you - maybe a little crafty time?

Today I'm playing along at Time Out Challenges where you need to choose two of the above words to work into your design. I'm going with Heart and Love!

I wanted a frilly romantic looking Valentine today. I started with the LOVE Shaker die from Pretty Pink Posh and embellished it with images (rose, XOXO, leaves, mini heart banner) from the Valentine Holder Additions die set.

I chose a blue background and added an XO texture with the XO XO Pierced Plate. I cut about an inch off the panel so I could add Doily Border die cuts underneath for a little extra detail.

I wanted to complete the "LOVE" word sentiment so I added a stamped "Lots of" from the Valentine Greetings stamp set. It actually said "Lots of Love" and I cut the "love" off it. A few Caribbean jewels add a bit of sparkle to the design.

Keep Smiling!

It's been a cold winter for most of us! The only one that doesn't seem to mind too much is the dog! She's still expecting her walk every morning. I'm always trying to find the bright side and notice the little things. I'm really enjoying seeing footprints in the snow lately and trying to figure out the different animals that left them!

Well howdy! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with some new dies I bought for myself over the holidays. Mr. J. tells me to pick what I want and I wanted these from Concord & 9th!

Where to start? That Mystic Moth background is fabulous! I did a monochromatic inlay in shades of peach/orange. I love that I can pop out the moths and use them "as is" too if I like!

I topped that fun background with the Bootcut die. The set includes lots of ways to embellish the basic boot design - you can add a stitched detail, flowers, stars, or this mesa design.

The set also includes some florals so you stuff the boot full of flowers. I added gem centers to the flowers as well as some gold glitter horseshoes and gems for even more bling!

I'm linking up to Time Out Challenges where they want you to make with something you love to do. Well I love to make personalized cards that make the recipient feel extra special. This card is for my daughter in law who loves anything country!

If you love books and you love to craft then you need to check out the Waffle Flower Crafts new Open Book die set! It cuts the book and comes with the script die cut you see pressed into my book pages.

There are three coordinating stencil sets so you have an option of what you ink onto the open book pages. You could also using an existing stamp set and create your own book pages.

I love a fantasy, and of course I'm always looking for a happy ending so I stenciled the Open Book Dragon Castle on the pages. Don't you love that dragon?

I mounted the book on a Sweet Plaid texture panel cut from aqua cardstock and added a Copic colored knight and sentiment from the Magical Birthday stamp set.
