Waffle Flower May Release Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Quilted Hugs

It's Day 3 of the Waffle Flower New Release Sneak Peeks. The release will be available in the store TOMORROW! Today we're sharing peeks of the new Quilted Hugs die - that's the one in the background on my card today.

The Quilted Hugs die coordinates with a stencil set so you can ink it in your favorite colors to create a patchwork quilt on paper. I added shades of green and aqua blue on mine.

I topped the stenciled design with a die cut Quilted Frame and an Inside/Outside Scalloped Circle. This creates a focal point for the new Fabric Lover Die N Stencil kitty!

To soften the background behind the cat I added a piece of vellum. This makes the kitty stencil brighter than the muted background.

Be Pawsome

Hi Friends! I hope you're having a great day! I spent the morning weeding and filling the bird feeders so now its time to relax and share a card.

My card today starts with a Dashed Rhombus background that I topped with a Three Tiered Shelf die cut from Waffle Flower.

Now for the fun part.. adding all the little accessories from Shelf Add Ons, Shelf Additions and Cattitude die sets. I love that little bitty mouse toy for the cat!

I double cut the fern and lamp shade to add a little dimension. A simple pre-printed, die cut sentiment and a few enamel dots are the finishing touch.

I'm playing along at Crafty Animals Challenge today where it's always anything goes. I hope you're having a great day comfy cozy in your home sweet home!

Waffle Flower November Release Blog Hop

My card today starts with the Dashed Rhombus A2 background die in yellow topped with the NEW Simple Bookcase die.

I added lots of accessories with the Shelf Add On's die. It includes the plant, clock, lamp, drawers and magazine holders and lots more that I didn't include on my card today.

A few Cattitude kitties (and bitty mouse) are right at home on the bookcase.. and YES! The solid door in the book case does open if you want to add a little secret message there.

The new Purrfect Sentiments coordinate well with all the cat related designs in this release. They're punny and will have you smiling.

Waffle Flower November Release Peeks Day 3 Pop Up Books

It's the third day of sneak peeks of the Waffle Flower November release. All of the new products will be available for sale on Sunday November 5 when we'll celebrate with at blog hop and giveaways!

Today I'm sharing the new Pop Up Books panel die. As the name implies the "pages" - the parts with the die cut lines are cut away along their sides so they pop up. The coordinating stencil set makes it easy to color the cover of the book separately from the "pages" of the books.

I inked each of my books in light and dark shades of the same color to define the books and add more color. You can just as easily do monochromatic black book covers with antique linen colored pages. But you know me.. I love color. So I even added some colorful "dots" scattered around the books that were made with markers.

A Purrfect Sentiment is cut with a circle to take center stage on the design and little kitties are tucked about the design for a whimsical look.

I think the book lover in your life will really like this card that was honestly very simple to make. And please don't forget that the new release is available TOMORROW! I hope you'll blog hop along with me for a chance to win some prizes too!
