Pretty Little Studio - To The Moon

Every Friday we feature a category from the Pretty Little Studio Shoppe! Today's Friday Feature is die cuts! Die cuts are pre printed, and cut images and words that are ready to work with. They make putting together projects - cards or layouts a breeze!

I started with papers from the Here Comes The Sun Collections - Up In The Air (Stripes, Flowers) Summer Party (Yellow). The Black & White Dots print you see at the bottom of the card is actually from the packaging in the collection. It's too pretty to throw away - and it's so smart that packaging is minimal when you repurpose.

I always add a strip of solid card stock when the pattern papers seem to be fading in to each other. This helps keep the patterns distinct and able to hold their own. 

A Coffee Break 3 x 4" Journaling Card is the perfect background for the To The Moon and Back sentiment. All the die cuts you see - the banner, stars and "to the moon and back" sentiment are from this one die cut package.

I added some Think Positive word stickers to the banner to add some enthusiasm to the sentiment!

 

The finishing touch was a sprinkle of Crystal Sequins - they shine like little stars!
