Here is the sketch challenge for OWH for this week.
I recently read some statistics about our service men and women. Although I realized that a large percentage were young, I never gave much thought to their hobbies and other interests.
I made this one with that in mind - knowing that I'm not the only one California Dreamin' - no matter what time of year! I stamped the images and then used Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink and gave it a sort of tie die look. I added a few sparkles to dress it up a little. Hope you like it!
Supplies used:
All Stamps except accent: Stampin Up! Accent Stamp Waltzingmouse Holiday Labels No. 14
Inks: Momento Paris Dusk, Ranger Distress Ink Faded Jeans & Peeled Paint

I like your interpretation of this week's sketch! And good for you choosing crafting over housework!
Awesome card, Jeanne! I love the variegated colores and the bit of bling. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
This is a great card! I like how you made the three images two the same and the different one in the middle. It lets the surfer stand out and be framed at the same time! I have a similar SU surfer and I have been checking Splitcoast Stampers gallery for ideas on how to use it. I haven't been very inspired by many of the ideas, but this concept has got my mojo going! Thanks for sharing your card.
